The Cabin

Misterpiggy stayed in room 507 on the 10th deck of the Ruby Princess.  Deck 10 is also known as the Caribe deck.  Cabin 507 is an inside cabin located midship.

It has a typical sized bathroom.  The shower was on the small side but had separate pressure and temperature controls.  Hot water was abundant.  Lots of towel space and storage.

Also lots of storage in the cabin with a large area for hanging clothes and little cubbies for everything else, including a room safe.  Other standard amenities include a TV that has about 20 different channels, a bar fridge and hair dryer.  Room temperature was easily controlled by the thermostat.

For the first three nights, misterpiggy was awakened in the wee hours by a persistent creaking noise that seemed to emanate from the outside door frame.  Venturing outside, the creaking noise was localized to about three or four adjacent cabins also, but going down the hall in either direction, there was no creaking.
After reporting the problem to the front desk the first night, misterpiggy was temporarily moved to cabin C203 on the second night, and the problem was fixed on the third night.
